When adhering, apply the 3M™ Opticlude™ eye patch to grease-free, dry skin. First, remove the paper cover sheet on the back of the 3M™ Opticlude™ eye patch. Close eyes slightly, relax facial muscles, no squeezing of eyes or muscles. Start at the nose and then toward the side of the face. For strong adhesion, stick the 3M™ Opticlude™ eye patch on your own hand first. Press the 3M™ Opticlude™ eye patch firmly for optimal adhesive strength.

Removal
When removing the eye patch, gently loosen the patch edges with a damp wet cloth. Remove the eye patch "low and slow" from the nose toward the ear: close to skin surface and roll over itself. (Do not lift the skin at an angle) Support the skin with the other hand. Then, if necessary, groom the skin.
