Claims
The chlorhexidine in Hibicet dilution renders a large group of bacteria, fungi and yeasts
harmless.
What this drug is used for.
Hibicet dilution is a sterile, ready-to-use aqueous solution for external use that can be used as a
disinfectant which can be used for e.g.
- cleaning and disinfection of large, damaged skin surfaces
- treatment of accidental injuries and burns
- cleaning and disinfection of the external genitalia during birth
- cleaning the skin around the operation site before applying the dressing.

Composition
Active substance: cetrimide (1.5 mg per milliliter solution) and chlorhexidine gluconate (0.15 mg per milliliter solution)
Excipients: ethanol, quinoline yellow (E104), sodium hydroxide, dgluconolactone and water.
Dosage
Hibicet dilution should be used on the skin only. Hibicet dilution is ready for immediate
use. If sterile handling is required, the outside of the ampoule should be disinfected before opening.
