Tick Tweezers Byebites 1 pcs.

The tick tweezers have a 2-in-1 function for easy and painless removal of both small and large fully-grown ticks. Here, it is important that no alcohol, iodine, oil or other agents are used to anesthetize the tick before removal.

Use
Before using the HeltiQ Tick tweezers, check whether you are dealing with a small or large tick. Then determine which side of the tick tweezers you will apply to remove the tick. Apply the side with the gripping arms to small ticks. If you are going to remove a large fully-grown tick, turn the tick tweezers around and use the V - notch to remove the tick.

For small ticks
Place the thumb and index finger on the white push buttons on the side of the tick tweezers.
Press the buttons simultaneously so that the tick tweezers' gripping arms open.
Place the open tick tweezers over the tick's head, as close to the skin as possible and release the buttons at the same time.
Now turn the tweezers counterclockwise (in the direction of the arrow) 2-3 times and gently pull the tick off.
After removing the tick, disinfect the bite wound with alcohol 70%.
Clean the tick tweezers after use with alcohol 70% on a sterile gauze pad.

With large ticks
Slide the tick tweezers laterally over the entire tick in the V notch, so that it gets stuck in the clamp.
Now turn the tweezers counterclockwise 2 to 3 times (in the direction of the arrow) and gently pull the tick off.
After removing the tick, disinfect the bite wound with alcohol 70%.
Clean the tick tweezers with 70% alcohol after use.
